Mon., Mar. 18 - Area Concert - 6th, 7th & 8th grade bands perform at 7:00 p.m. at SHHS Gym

Wed., Mar. 20 - Title 1 Parent Information Night - CARE presentation on Vape from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Media Center. A light dinner and refreshments will be served at 6:00 p.m. Please R.S.V.P. to the main office.

Thurs., Mar. 21- Extra Credit Union during all lunches

Thurs., Mar. 21 - Girls Basketball Carleton @ Grissom - 4:00 p.m. - 8th / 5:00 p.m. - 7th

Thurs., Mar. 21 - 5th Grade Parent Transition Meeting at Grissom in the cafeteria from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Sat., Mar. 23 - Girls Basketball Position Round at Warren Mott High School - 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Mon., Mar. 25 - 7th & 8th Gr. Girls Basketball Pizza Party from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the cafe.

Wed., Mar. 27 - Writing Celebration - Secondary from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Warren Mott Annex

Fri., Mar. 29 - 1/2 Day - Hours 4,5,6 - Dismiss 11:00 a.m. - PM Records Day

SPRING BREAK - April 1 - 5 - School resumes Monday, April 8

GRISSOM SCHOOL-WIDE TITLE 1 SCHOOL

Grissom is a school-wide Title 1 school. By achieving this status, Grissom will continue to receive money from the federal government that will benefit the entire student population. The money we receive is used for programs and supplies that will increase student achievement.

IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL LAW

Under Federal Law, you as parents may request the following specific information about the professional qualifications of your children's teachers:

1. Whether the teacher has met the state qualifications/licensing for their grade level/subjects.

2. Whether the teacher is on a temporary permit or waiver.

3. The teacher's majors, graduate certificates/degrees, and discipline fields.

4. Paraprofessional services and qualifications.
